This morning a crane being used for renovation of the Anthenaeum, a historic bulding  in Downtown Indianapolis crashed into part of the gym. The crane fell onto its side injuring three people. The Anthenaeum is over 100 years old and houses a YMCA in the gym area. The crane operator was working for a local equipment company.  

Tom Hastings of The Hastings Law Firm in Indianapolis, Indiana doubled the purse for the annual Mid Season Doubler. Tom and Stephanie Hastings are big race fans and help by doubling the winning share for the feature events at the Gas City I69 Speedway. This year was the 5th Annual Mid Season Doubler.

While attending a birthday party of a friend, a boy from Chesterton Indiana suffered second degree burns to parts of his body. 

The Consumer Product Safety Commission recalled glasses sold by McDonalds. Additional  product recalls for potential fire hazzards.

Beech Grove Indiana Fire Department fire engine was involved in an accident with another vehicle. The driver of the SUV was taken to an Indianapolis area hospital Monday evening in serious condition. Two firefighters were also taken to the hospital but were released late Monday.

A 5 year old is in a coma after he hit his head a fell from an amusement park ride over the weekend. The child is in an Indianapolis hospital in critical condition. The Department of Homeland Security is investigating the accident.

A semi tractor trailer crossed a median early Friday morning killing 10 people in a van. The accident occurred on Interstate 65 in northern Kentucky.
