The founder of The Hastings Law Firm, Tom Hastings was born and raised in Indianapolis, Tom obtained his law degree from Wabash College in 1980, and Indiana University School of Law, Indianapolis in 1983. Tom is married to Stephanie Valentine Hastings and has a daughter, Geogia.
Tom has much experience in fire and explosion cases and often represents fire victims and injured fire fighters. In addition, The Hastings Law Firm partners with The Peoples Burn Foundation and assists burn survivors and families. Tom has personally handled over 180 trials. Because of his experiance and knowledge, he has been invited to speak at many seminars. Tom's memberships include the Indiana State Bar Association, Indianapolis Bar Association, the American Association of Justice, the Brain Injury Association and he is on the Executive Committee and is a Sustaining Member of the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association.
The Hastings Law Firm focuses on personal injury and wrongful death claims from explosions, fires, construction accidents, semi and auto collisions and other catastrophic events.
The Hastings Law Firm also supports fire education with Survive Alive provided by the Indianapolis Firefighters Local 416 and the Indianapolis Fire Department.
Other associates with the Firm are Jeff Oliphant, Sam Krahulik, Nicholas Baker and Robert Johnson. Also employed by the Hastings Law Firm are Paralegals, Angela Myers and Laura Rasche.
